Being a non-smoker, I thought this would be worthy of bringin up again since the topic is in the news again.

The Smoking ban that is.

So here's the question, in two parts.

Part 1, are you a smoker?

Part 2, are you for or against a ban of smoking in public places, and why?

I ask if you smoke or not first, just so we can show opinions from both smokers and non smokers.

Define "smoker".

I've smoked meat products!

I would say that I am not a habitual user of tobacco.

I am against the blanket ban on smoking. This should be a free market decision by a business owner. People could then choose to either work there or not, or patronize the business or not.

The city government should have the authority to make this decision for city buildings only.
